Happy Easter!!!

Wishing you all a very happy Easter today!!!

We had a lovely morning with egg hunting and visited our local Peep show.
This was my all time favorite Peep sculpture.  Who doesn't love Peter Cottontail.

Going back to my childhood with the Swedish Chef...this was a great sculpture too!!!

And everyone's favorite dog Snoopy.  If you ever get a chance to go to a Peep show you should.
Happy Easter everyone!!!

Theresa

Pattern

With lots of encouragement from friends and family I have finally made the journey to designing.  I'd like to introduce you to my debut pattern called "Spring Sampler Pinkeep Drum".  The chart will include a colored cover, a colored stitching chart, template, and full instruction to complete the Pinkeep drum.  The finished drum size is 3 1/4" tall by 2 1/4" in diameter.
If any one is interested in purchasing a pattern please look in my Etsy shop you'll find it on my side bar.
Just a few word of thanks:  I want to thank my sweet friend Nan Lewis for being my guide, rock, and mentor...it wouldn't have been possible with out you!!!! To my tech support guy whom I love and adore Brian Meloon.  To my cheerleaders Pat Simon, Michelle Blanco, & Holly LeMay for being there and cheering me on.  Also to all my friends and family who have always had a kind word about my work...you too need to be thanked!!!

Here are a few of the things I made:

In other news tomorrow my friend Holly and I are going to go get into trouble...a good kind of trouble that is (antiquing). I will post some of the treasures I find if I should get anything good that is. ;0)

I hope you are all well and staying warm. I don't know about you but tomorrow it's suppose to be 60 here and I am looking forward to that very much.

Our Big Snow Storm

On Friday it started to snow here in Maryland and it kept snowing until Saturday evening.  Hubby and I shoveled on and off to keep things manageable.  We ended up getting 30" of snow which is a lot for this area.
Kiddo had a great time but the snow was deeper then anything he's seen so far.  He found out real fast it's hard to walk in LOL!!!
Today the sun is shining and clean up is pretty much done.  We are waiting for a plow to come clean off our road though.

I hope everyone that got hit by this storm is doing well.  We managed to keep our power which made things so much easier.  Stay safe out there...clean up is going to take a little while for the road crews.

Hugs,
Theresa

Antiquing in PA

Yesterday my sweet friend Holly and I decided to spend the day antiquing in PA. To say we had a great day finding goodies is a understatement.  We drove to Lititz and hit two of our favorite shops "Days Gone By Creations" and "The Moravian House".  Then after a wonderful lunch at JoBoy's across the street we drove down to "Burning Bridge Antiques" in Columbia.
What a fun girls day out it was!!!  Here are a few of my finds.  A few I can't show since they will be birthdays gifts LOL!!!

New design

I've been working on stitching a new design.  It's been floating around in my head for a few weeks now and finally I had some time to stitch it.  I wanted to share it with you all.  I still have to finish it but at least you can see all the stitching.

I hope everyone's New Year has started off well.
Hugs,
Theresa
