A Wonderful Fall Swap with Ravenwoods Whimzies

It's been so long since my last post. My motivation for this post is to show you all my wonderful swap goodies my sweet friend Wendy Montreuil from Ravenwood Whimzies sent me.

Wendy and I have been swapping for several years now but usually at Christmas time. This year we decided some Fall fun was in order. Here is a photo of all the lovely goodies I received from Wendy. I just adore the white pumpkin crow table mat she made. What a fabulous treasure to have!!! It has now found it's home on our coffee table in the family room for all to see. The sweet black pumpkin doll has found it's way into my studio with his bowl of sweet smelling corn. The cute black kitty found it's way in there too...after all it is Halloween in there all year long.

I truly love everything as I always do!!! Thank you Wendy for yet another fun swap!!! I love all my new treasures you made!!!

I hope this post finds you all well... I know it's been some time since I posted last but maybe just maybe I'll keep this going.

Primitive Handmades Mercantile

It's hard to believe that it's already time for PHM first 2015 update. Where is the time going. I have been stitching like crazy to get things done for this update. I hope you'll go over and take a walk through all the lovely shops. All the ladies are so very talented and every month I have to pinch myself because I still can't believe I'm in this group of talented ladies. New family members

We have been wanting kitties for some time now so on Saturday we started our search at some local shelters. Yesterday (Sunday) we visited the SPCA with two black kittens in mind...a brother and sister. Well when we got there another couple was looking at them so we went and looked at the older cats. To our surprise two 1 year old brothers took a shine to our little one and us. We went back to look at the kittens but still they were with the couple in a room playing. I told hubby I think we found ourselves kitties already so the two 1 year old brothers came home with us.

Meet Stache and Drizzle they came with these names not sure if we'll keep them but for now that is what we are calling them.
