Guest Artists on PFATT Oct 10th

I am so excited to announce I will be a guest artist on PFATT on Oct 10th.  If  you have never visited their website you are missing out my friends.  Here is a link so you can go see all of the lovely handmades  http://www.pfattmarketplace.com . They update every month on the 10th @ 1pm Eastern time. Here are a few of the goodies I made for the update.
This sweet little  5 3/4" wide by 6 1/2" tall.  I have done some fancy stitches around my cross stitch design ad he has a sweet little black wool pumpkin on the back. This is perfect to use as a pinkeep if you should choose too.  It is stuffed with sawdust shaving, walnut shells, and lavender out of my garden.

My log cabin Oct 31st drum has to be one of my favorite drums to date.  It is big that is for sure...in fact the biggest one I have ever made to date.  It is 5" in diameter and stands 4 1/2" tall.  It has been stained to primitive perfection and has been filled with sawdust shaving, walnut shells, and lavender from my garden.

I've been busy also with updating some of my banners and what not to reflect more of what I do these days.   I hope you like it.  It's been fun playing with my new collage app LOL!!!  I also did some collages of some of my past work.

I really need to update my business photo though...it's a good one yes but I very rarely like my own photo and this one I was pleased with so I guess I will live with it a bit longer.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out what's new here at Dulaney Woods Treasures!!!!

Theresa

Our Big Snow Storm

On Friday it started to snow here in Maryland and it kept snowing until Saturday evening.  Hubby and I shoveled on and off to keep things manageable.  We ended up getting 30" of snow which is a lot for this area.
Kiddo had a great time but the snow was deeper then anything he's seen so far.  He found out real fast it's hard to walk in LOL!!!
Today the sun is shining and clean up is pretty much done.  We are waiting for a plow to come clean off our road though.

I hope everyone that got hit by this storm is doing well.  We managed to keep our power which made things so much easier.  Stay safe out there...clean up is going to take a little while for the road crews.

Hugs,
Theresa

Antiquing in PA

Yesterday my sweet friend Holly and I decided to spend the day antiquing in PA. To say we had a great day finding goodies is a understatement.  We drove to Lititz and hit two of our favorite shops "Days Gone By Creations" and "The Moravian House".  Then after a wonderful lunch at JoBoy's across the street we drove down to "Burning Bridge Antiques" in Columbia.
What a fun girls day out it was!!!  Here are a few of my finds.  A few I can't show since they will be birthdays gifts LOL!!!

New design

I've been working on stitching a new design.  It's been floating around in my head for a few weeks now and finally I had some time to stitch it.  I wanted to share it with you all.  I still have to finish it but at least you can see all the stitching.

I hope everyone's New Year has started off well.
Hugs,
Theresa
